Founder · Solutions Architect
Yves Fabien
I've spent more than 20 years working in enterprise technology, and today I use that experience to help small and mid-size businesses build better websites, software, data systems and AI tools.
The goal is simple: understand the problem, build what makes sense, and make sure it actually works for the business.
Let's Work TogetherWhy I Started SynthBridge
I started SynthBridge after seeing the same problem over and over again.
Large consulting firms can bring a lot of experience to the table, but they're often too expensive and too slow for a small or growing business. On the other end, hiring a developer can get something built quickly, but that doesn't always come with the experience needed to think through the bigger picture.
A lot of businesses end up somewhere in between.
That's where SynthBridge fits.
I bring the experience I gained working on large enterprise systems, but I'm still directly involved in the work. I can help think through the business problem, design the solution and build it.
You're not hiring someone to write a recommendation and hand it off to another team. You work directly with the person responsible for getting it done.
My Background
My career has taken me through a lot of different sides of technology: software development, business analysis, data, enterprise systems, architecture and now AI.
Over the years, I've worked on global data platforms, mobile systems for field teams, e-commerce, analytics and payment technology inside a large consumer products company.
That work gave me hands-on experience across SAP, data engineering, analytics, cloud platforms and software development. Today that also includes tools like Python, BigQuery, Tableau, Power BI, OpenAI, Gemini, Claude and modern machine-learning libraries.
Since starting SynthBridge, I've built and launched more than 30 production applications, including analytics dashboards, AI-enabled platforms, community tools, ordering systems, payment integrations and websites.
That work has reinforced something I learned a long time ago: a good technology idea doesn't mean much if nobody can use it. It has to get built, solve the problem and fit the way the business actually works.
Why Clients Choose to Work With Me
Most clients come to me because they know something needs to change, but they don't necessarily know what the right technology solution looks like yet.
Sometimes they've already worked with someone who gave them a lot of advice but never really solved the problem. Other times they simply want one person who can understand what they need and stay with the project through launch.
My background lets me look at a project from both sides: what makes sense for the business and what it takes technically to build it properly.
I'm comfortable discussing the bigger strategy, but I'm also comfortable opening the code and doing the work.
I don't just tell clients what they should build. I help build it.
Technical Experience
My work spans enterprise systems, modern web development, data, cloud infrastructure and AI. Depending on the project, I can work at the strategy level, design the architecture or get directly into implementation.

How I Work
Solve the Problem
I'm less interested in how many hours a project takes than whether it solves the problem you hired me to solve.
That means keeping the scope clear, making sensible technical decisions and focusing the work on what will actually make a difference.
Plain Language
You shouldn't need a technical background to understand what's happening with your own project.
I explain what we're building, why we're building it and the tradeoffs involved without burying the conversation in technical language.
One Point of Contact
You work directly with me throughout the project. I'm involved in the early conversations, the technical decisions, the build and the support afterward.
If something needs attention, you don't have to figure out which department owns it.

Beyond the Work
I've also been playing piano for more than 30 years. Music has been a major part of my life for a long time, and it probably explains some of the patience I have for sitting with a difficult problem until it finally works.
Outside of work, a lot of my time goes to family and community. I volunteer around youth sports and stay involved with youth programs at my church.
Those parts of my life matter to me just as much as the technology work does.
Have Something You're Trying to Build?
If you have a project in mind, a system that isn't working the way it should, or simply a technology question you're trying to figure out, tell me about it.
We can spend 30 minutes looking at the problem and whether SynthBridge is the right fit.
